Publishing Test Cases

This feature is available to customers with Small Business or Enterprise licenses.

Once the test case is developed and is proven to work in the local environment you can publish it (upload it) to the TestResults.io portal. This way the test case in the portal will change its state and you will be able to execute the test case directly from the portal. For more details regarding how to work with the test cases in the portal refer to chapter Test Cases in the User's Guide.

In order to publish the test created in the Designer to the Portal the following points need to be met:

• Designer is connected to the TestResults.io server

• The desired Customer and Project is selected

• The testcontainer for the created test is generated

To publish the container simply :

• Open the Visual Studio Solution Explorer

• Right click on the Test Case Project

• Select the TestResults.io context menu

• Select the Publish newest container option
